About The Project

Designing a safe, inclusive, and accessible digital foundation

Tautoko Mai’s existing website was outdated, difficult to maintain, and increasingly vulnerable to security issues. The brand itself lacked inclusivity, and the logo was hard to read, creating barriers for the very people it was designed to support.

The challenge was to rebuild both the brand and website in a way that felt welcoming, safe, and trustworthy for a diverse audience, including people with disabilities, varying literacy levels, and complex emotional needs. Every decision needed to prioritise accessibility, clarity, and empathy while supporting long-term growth and stability.

An inclusive, people-first brand with accessibility at its core

We began with an in-depth Brand Discovery process to understand Tautoko Mai’s story, purpose, audience, and service network. Through strategy, research, and careful collaboration, we shaped a brand and website that feels warm, inclusive, and trustworthy.

The final result is a user-driven digital experience designed to reduce friction, remove barriers, and help people find support quickly and confidently. From accessible design considerations to clear navigation and calm visual language, the platform now reflects Tautoko Mai’s vision, values, and commitment to creating a safe space for everyone who needs it.
